STORAGE MEDIA |
- Hard Drive Data Recovery(All Kind of Interfaces)
- Recovery from physical and logical damage due to mechanical and electrical failure, software corruption or human error.
- Computer will not boot
- Applications those are unable to run or load data
- Hard disk component failure
- Fire and water damage
- Accidental reformatting of partitions
- Inaccessible drives and partitions
- Corrupted data, virus
- Hard disk crashes
- Media surface contamination and damage.
- Accidental deletion of data
Each recovery case begins with a free diagnostic to determine the potential for recovery and to provide a firm price-quote for your review. The initial diagnosis determines whether the media is accessible to our lab equipment. If so, the first priority is to create a raw image of the data on IPF Technologies’ media so that a logical analysis can determine the nature of the data loss. If the media is inaccessible, our lab will test the components and closely examine its internal health so as to determine the extent of physical damage.
Recovery of crashed hard disks often involves replacing failed or damaged components in a clean environment and using specialized hardware and software tools to create the raw image. Failed components typically include electronics, read/write heads, head assemblies, magnet & drive motors.
Logical recovery uses the raw image by examining the low-level data sectors and determining what fixes to file system structures are needed to get access to the important data. Sometimes the existing file system structures are missing or damaged so much that data has to be extracted directly from one or more fragments of the raw image.
We have created a full set of software tools used by our technicians to analyze, fix & recover data from raw images of all operating systems. Once a recovery has been successfully performed, file lists are created and data validity and integrity is checked.
RAID DATA RECOVERY
Although RAID systems offer superb performance, increased speed and availability of data, they too can fail under certain circumstances. IPF Technology has extensive experience with RAID data recovery, on both spanned and striped systems. In most cases, we require only the drives or storage devices to recover the data, and because of the high importance of most RAID systems, we consider them a top priority - which means much quicker recovery and return of your data.
When recovering data from RAID, SAN, NAS and DAS arrays, we typically mirror the complete drive volumes and then process the total array as image files, to ensure all of your data is safe. Once we have recovered the data to our data recovery servers, we evaluate the array images to determine if corruption has occurred, and work on repairing it.
Our proprietary software extracts data from the image files, or if a drive image is difficult to create, we simply reconstruct the data in the same way that a RAID rebuild process is performed.
During all stages, we closely monitor the array configuration and array file system to determine why exactly the array failed. This information may be critical to future RAID systems your company may set up.
Once we have recovered the data, we return it on whichever media you prefer, be it a CD, DVD or a replacement hard drive.

MEMORY CARDS
Memory Card Recovery service aims to recover lost images on corrupt, deleted or damaged Smart Media, Compact Flash, Memory Stick (smart media), MMC-SD, mini SD, PCMCIA, Microdrive, USB Flash Drive, SD or PC Card image storage devices. Our Data Recovery Lab provides this service across the industry IT and non IT, be it a professional photographer, an ad agency, a news agency, a journalist, a security specialist we recover their data for them.
We offer our services to any business or business sector that makes use of a digital camera or memory cards in other equipments as an integral part of their professional functioning.
If you've lost your digital images, data, DON'T PANIC!!! Very often lost images are recoverable. Stop doing anything more to the card. Don't use general purpose recovery software or unknown shareware. Use a professional Data Recovery service like IPF Technologies. Please contact us if you have any questions about the recovery.
OPERATING SYSTEMS
MICROSOFT – DOS AND WINDOWS (ALL SERIES)
We are a leader in the field of Data Recovery. We receive a lot of Microsoft (All Versions) Operating System based data recoveries, as it is more widely used than Mac or Linux. Microsoft is the most used operating system among networking professionals and individuals. IPF is proficient in servicing all Microsoft base Hard Disk Drives, Storages and File Systems such as FAT and NTFS (All Versions).
Since we are pioneers in the field of data-recovery, we are very much committed to understanding and resolving all kinds of recovery problems faced by the most sophisticated administrators to the simplest everyday average computer user.
We pride ourselves in providing an umbrella of professional expertise that can solve all data-recovery instances for laptops, desktops, as well as the most complicated RAID server configuration. More so with the delicateness and efficiency it deserves!
MAC DATA RECOVERY
We make it a priority to stay ahead of the curve in solving Mac data problems caused by viruses, common disk crashes and hacker outage attacks that could endanger your data. Our capabilities include handling recoveries caused due to power surges, power failures, human error, natural disasters and many other such instances. We have developed proprietary tools that enable us to have complete access to the hex level of the HPFS and HPFS + file system.
Our Mac knowhow makes us the foremost in successful Mac data-recovery rates. We are continuously trudging onwards in our quest to deliver tools and solutions for all versions of the platform; making us the obvious choice for the company to call if you find your data has been lost, damaged, or deleted. Nothing would make us happier than see your Mac’s data recovered safe and sound.
NOVELL NETWARE DATA RECOVERY
The intimate knowhow and the extensive research experience that our Netware recovery specialists wield at their fingertips, makes us stand apart from the rest. Our commitment to R&D has resulted in the development of our own recovery tools. Tools that enable us to maintain the highest successful recovery rate for Novell products.
Our Netware recovery methods meet the standards all hard drive manufacturers. We will go the distance to ensure that your system is completely restored!
Here are some simple steps to follow when you experience a systems outage:
1. If your hard drive is making a clicking or buzzing sound - or any type of strange noises-immediately shutdown and power off your Netware system. By powering off, you avoid causing more damage to the drive or data. This is the one time when simply rebooting is a major No-No. If the problem is a physical failure, simple rebooting can destroy all chances of recovery!
2. No matter what Netware server disk configuration you are using, never try to correct the problem yourself. Netware configurations are complex especially if you are using a RAID array. By trying to fix it yourself without the proper knowledge or tools, you could exacerbate the problem - making data recovery more difficult and costly.
3. Please do not be tempted to use any of the do-it-your-self data recovery software for Netware. By doing so, you could blow the only chance you have to recover your data! Again, the inherent risk of looking for an easy fix in such programs makes taking such a chance pure folly.
4. Instead, place a call to one of our professionals! Our Netware Recovery Professionals will quickly evaluate the problem and tell you how to ship the drive or Storage to our lab. In most cases, we are able to recover data from most failures within 48 to 72 hours - depending upon the severity of the damage!
LINUX DATA RECOVERY
Linux uses a single hierarchal directory structure which allows everything to start from the root directory '/', and to expand into sub-directories. Unlike DOS/Windows systems which can have various partitions and subdirectories under those partitions Linux places all the partitions under the root directory by 'mounting' them under specific directories.
In windows, the various partitions are detected at boot and assigned a drive letter. Under Linux, unless you mount a partition or a device, the system does not know of the existence of that partition or device. This might not seem to be the easiest way to provide access to your partitions or devices but it allows for greater flexibility and management of logical and physical drives as mount points.
Providing Linux Data recovery Service requires a distinctive skills, knowledge and understanding of the EXT2 and EXT3 file systems. We have highly skilled and trained open source contributing engineers who are able to access the most intricate parts of a Linux file system to ensure a successful recovery.
UNIX DATA RECOVERY
